Void (2018)

The void is a sound performance explores the range of the frequency in empty space. The sound is produced in a closed glass tube by generating audio feedback and I attempt to push the sound at the very limit level towards both low and high frequency within the audible scale. The sound starts from nothing in empty space (void) and it gets amplzified by time proceeds. The range of audio frequency is controlled by oscillating, modulating and shifting the hertz when the space is closed and open. Also, the environmental factor influences the sound amplification working like triggers. Different DIY devices are used to create additional sound. These make different ways of feedback between multiple inputs and outputs. The audience will listen to a wide range of sound from very low to very high and fluctuations of the sound waves in different time settings.

이 작업은 빈 공간 (void) 에서 발생되는 오디오 피드백 사이에 넓은 범위의 주파스를 보내어 피드백을 콘트롤 하는 사운드 퍼포먼스 이다. 유리 튜브 공간안에서 발생된 피드백은 매우 낮은 인프라소닉 프리퀀시에서 부터 매우 높은 하이프리퀀시의 범주를 넘나드며 다양한 소리의 스펙트럼을 표현한다. 소리는 무(無)에서 시작하여 점점 증가되지만, 모듈레이팅, 오실레이팅 그리고 헤르츠를 변환하는 과정을 통해서 빈공간 안, 그리고 밖에서 달라지는 소리를 들을 수 있다. 또한 외부적 요소가 빈 공간속의 피드백에 미치는 영향 또한 표현한다.
